Eating tips for healthy weight loss?
Posted on November 22nd, 2009 by admin
I’m trying to lose some weight the healthy way; by eating right and exercising more. I’m just looking for some tips on ways to eat healthy foods. For example; eating a piece of fruit for breakfast, or substituting certain foods for others. I’ll take anything. I’m not being obsessive about it, but I’m just looking for some simple things I can do to lose some weight.
Thanks for your help!

2. Eat less carbs, cholesterol, fat and oily meals.
3. Exercise regularly

Divide your meals into six meals a day. Get your daily servings of fruits and veggies, carbs, and protein. And exercise!

Well, for losing weight can succeed in losing a few pounds on two conditions: change your eating habits and increase your physical activity. If you do any exercise today, it is not mandatory to participate in sport, but a daily walk or a bit of swimming each week can already do a lot.Try to start the day with a morning cocktail. Nourishing, low, with a lot of fiber, it will help to quickly clear the body, long and still hunger for a month to get rid of the excess of three kilograms. The recipe for it is simple: a cup of any fruit (can be frozen), tablespoon soy, apple juice and a few cubes of ice. Dig here for more info:

A healthy diet should include plenty of fresh fruits, whole grains and vegetables. Keep a supply of washed and sliced vegetables in the refrigerator readily available for a quick snack. Eat foods that are high in complex carbohydrates, fiber, vitamins, and minerals, low in fat, lean in protein, and cholesterol free. Limit sugary foods, salt, and refined grain products such as breads, pastas, and breakfast cereal that are not whole grain. Portion control is essential. One pound of fat is the equivalent to 3500 calories.

This has worked well for me and for my entire family.
1. Avoid anything with partially hydrogenated vegetable oil.
2. Avoid anything with high fructose corn syrup.
3. Eat a good breakfast
4. Eat five times a day.
By following steps 1 and 2, you automatically eliminate a lot of processed food in your diet. I just found it easier to remember 2 ingredients when I was at the grocery store than a whole list of processed food.
When I stopped eating processed food, I started eating more fruits, vegetables, lean meats and the healthy stuff.
In Step 3, eating breakfast means eating protein and hopefully some fiber. If you don’t like or have time for oatmeal or cereal and milk, try peanut butter on a banana, or cheese melted on toast in the toaster oven. You can even make scrambled eggs in the microwave in 2 minutes and wrap them in a tortilla with salsa. (yes, my kids still think that microwaving eggs is the equivalent of a science experiment at breakfast, but they eat them up.)
It also felt better to limit sugar intake, I watch sugar in products — especially breakfast cereal. Try eating cereal with 6 grams of sugar or less such as Quaker Life—Regular Flavor, Multi Grain Cheerios, Cheerios –Regular Flavor, Kix, Crispix, Chex – Wheat, Rice, and Corn, Honey Bunches of Oats—regular flavor)
Budget is a big issue for my family, so we now eat more black beans, kidney beans, and lentils instead of so much meat.
If you are interested in learning more, go to my website and it will give you a more detailed list of easy and healthy foods, as well as a list of 25 healthy snacks, It even has a recipe for microwave scrambled eggs.
I hope this helps!
