I want to lose 20 – 30 pound by the beginning of November. I need to know what foods to eat. I will be going and walking/running everyday after school as well.

I’m 5′9 i have a large body frame. I weigh somewhere around 190.
The healthy weight range for my height is 150 – 170.

Any tips on how to maximize my weight loss in that amount of time. Thanks.

you need to do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. The 45 minute thing is not true, but don’t over 60 minutes at a time.

Do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.

The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!

Don’t look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.

What is the best and quickest weight loss excercise video?

I am looking for a jump start weight loss video. Any suggestions. I do not want something that is super fast to the point where I will not be able to do it. I am fairly new at excercising and would not like to over do it or else I will not stick to it. Also I am brisk walking 2 miles 5-6 days a week but I would really like to lose belly fat I just don’t know which exercise video is the best. Please help. I am 5′1" and weight 185 lbs. I am not a big eater but I think I gain weight pretty quick cause I starve myself eat once maybe twice a day. I don’t eat breakfast and my lunch is usually around 2 or 3 pm. HELP!

Being a vegetarian for over 10 years, I now need to lose some of the weight i’ve put on in this time. Unfortunatly I must be eating an unblalance diet as i see plenty diets but most are for meat eaters none for us veggies. Any ideas for a good healthy Vegitarian weight loss program ?

The same one that applies to omnivors: eat less, exercise more.

Is weight loss a possible symptom of heart failure?

I know people suffering from congestive heart failure can gain weight because of swelling, but can weight loss also be an HF symptom?

But, I figure that because of all the swelling in my abdominal cavity, I feel full much faster and therefore eat less. Does that make sense?
